On January 27th the Caniff-Murphy family here in town experienced a devastating fire at their home, resulting in a total loss. Sadly this loss included not only their house and possessions, but also the passing of their loving and devoted father/grandfather Mike. As the family now seeks to move forward with their lives and rebuild their home, we would like to give them the support they need to make that happen.
After speaking with the Town of Tolland, the United Congregational Church of Tolland is setting up the “Canniff-Murphy Fund.” All money received will be given directly to the family to support both their direct needs and their rebuilding efforts.
