Season Seven of Beethoven on the Green concludes on Sunday, October 16, at 3:00 pm, with Allan Conway at the piano performing three signature sonatas of Beethoven. This special Fall Edition program includes The "Waldstein" Sonata, the "Tempest" Sonata and the Sonata Opus 101 in A Major. Also appearing will be special guest violinist Christa Berezowskyj, who will play the delightful Variations on the Aria "Se vuol ballare" from Mozart's opera, "The Marriage of Figaro." As always, there will be commentary on the music and the composer.
Donations to the Horsman Organ Fund will be gratefully received, and this time come with a special opportunity to ascend the ladder to the attic for an "organ crawl" following the concert. No crawling is required (it's just an expression), but Allan will lead the way and explain all the various kinds of pipes and the "behind the scenes" workings of the instrument.
