No matter
who you are or
where you are
on life’s journey,
you are welcome here!
We
believe
in extravagant
welcome. We uphold the value and integrity of
each person’s faith journey. This is why God’s
communion table is open to everyone and God’s
gift and claim in baptism are irrevocable. Our
congregation extends hospitality as a sign of
God’s inclusive love. We teach that offering
bread to all who seek it is God’s mission for
the church. Why?
Because no matter who you
are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are
welcome here.
We believe the church
mission is to change lives-individually,
systemically, and globally. We work to make
change possible., but trust God’s grace. We are
committed to working for justice and we believe
that our lives are changed, make a difference,
and find meaning through local and global
experiences and friendships.
Why?
Because when we do it
for the least of these we do it for Christ.
We believe in God’s
continuing testament. This is why we are
committed to hearing God’s ancient story anew
and afresh in our lives and in the world today.
Whenever we do Bible study in this church, we
encourage and value everyone’s participation. No
one needs to be a Bible expert! Instead we ask
you to use your imagination and your own natural
intelligence as we probe the text together. We
ask open-ended questions that do not have exact
right or wrong answers, remembering that the
Holy Spirit speaks through each of us. Why?
Because God
is still speaking,
As followers
of Jesus, we are called to be advocates and
agents for change in our world.
Jesus calls us out into the world to be
his Love, Healing, and Hope.
We are a community of ordinary people
with an extraordinary vision. If you’re ready to
do something, small or large, we invite you to
join us.
