UConn Football Games Seatback Rentals

UConn Football Games Seatback Rentals - Volunteers are needed to help with seatback rentals at the home UCONN football games*. The income earned from helping out with the rentals has been an important fundraiser for our mission trips. So what do volunteers do?  A team of about 12 volunteers arrive at the game about 1.5 hours before kickoff. The team divides and stands at the four gates renting seatbacks to those who will be sitting on the bleachers. Selling continues through the first quarter then we are free to watch the rest of the game. Following the game we spend about 30 minutes picking up the seatbacks that have not been returned to the gate and then we head home. It's a lot of fun!  If you would like more information on what they do or have any questions please contact Dave Young: 860 890-3746 or dyoung93056@comcast.net. To volunteer at one or more games, please logon to https://signup.com/go/vQXsSLD or select the button on the UCCTOLLAND.ORG homepage.  use the sign-up sheet in fellowship hall or contact Dave for the following date: Mon, Nov. 23, 12pm (vs. East Carolina).

PF Event : Cathedral in the Night

The Youth Fellowship group and Missions Committee have joined together once again to partner with Cathedral in the Night.  On December 15th we’ll prepare a meal and serve outside in the community of Northampton MA after participating in a worship service.  We’ll also bring some items in need and are accepting offerings of peanut butter, jelly, granola bars, hand warmers, gloves and sleeping bags.  A collection box for these offerings will reside in the hallway outside the office for the month of November.  Thank you in advance for your support.
