Rev. Jeff's Bible Study

Rev. Jeff’s Tuesday evening Bible study will take a brief hiatus in for the Christmas holiday.  We will meet on 10th and then resume on January 7th.  January will see us finish our current book: Heart and Mind: The Four-Gospel Journey for Radical Transformation by Alexander John Shaia.  This book has offered some great fodder for conversation as we’ve considered looking at the four gospels as an interconnected unit that takes readers on a personal and spiritual journey.  If this sounds interesting to you, it’s not too late to join in!  We meet Tuesday nights from 7-8pm.  All ability levels are always welcome!

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

Wednesday morning Bible study returns January 15, 10-11:15

Wednesday morning Bible Study will take a break until January 15.  Every week we discuss one or more of the lectionary scripture readings for the following Sunday.  A background page to be read for each gathering will be available on the table outside the church office. (You can also email Pastor Ruth for a copy). No previous Bible study experience is necessary to participate – only a sense of curiosity and a willingness to consider multiple interpretations of a scripture. If we had a motto, it might be, “I hadn’t thought of that!” Please contact Ruth or Molli if you have any questions.
