Update!

 

It was a dark and stormy night but it did not keep some of us from attending the conclusion of the 2nd Annual Goods and Service Silent Auction.  You came, had some warm coffee, dessert, enjoyed the music by Daniel Broderick and Jona Ziac and made final bids on a wonderful assortment of items.  There was energy in the room and some friendly competition, as well.  Thank you for braving the elements.

 

We reached our goal thanks to the generosity of, not only our congregation, but people from across the state who donated and attended this fun and worthy fundraising event.  It was by all accounts a great success and the proceeds will go a long way to help preserve Silver Lake Conference Center Now and for the Future.

 

The committee thanks the givers, the bidders, the wonderful people that baked all the delicious desserts, the musicians and especially Hugh and Kate McLean, co-chairs of the Now, for the Future Campaign who came to support our efforts.  Let’s start planning the 3rd Annual Auction!

 

The committee is looking for another member, so if you are interested, please let Rev. Wright know or contact one of us.

 

….and now, please save this date – Saturday June 5, when, back by popular demand. we will welcome summer with a BBQ supper, and yes, the great chef and his crew are back for this event.
