These musicians play period instruments an have studied early music at the Juilliard School and at Yale University.  They are known for their “well-thought-out articulation and phrasing” and their “elegant string playing, . . . tuning, and balance” and specialize in Baroque and Classical music as well as newly commissioned works for period instruments.  They  were recently named the artists-in-residence at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, CT.

This unique performance brings together CitySingers of Hartford and the Choir School of Hartford to perform John Rutter’s Mass of the Children, written in memory of Rutter’is son.  The program will also include two of G.
