Minister of Music
Steven C. Lowry
We have an active music program
at UCCT consisting of an Adult Choir, Joyful Voices,
Children's Choir, soloists, instrumentalists, and
special music services.
Adult
Choir
Our
Adult Choir meets for rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00
p.m. from September to June. The choir presents anthems
during Christmas and Easter, as well as Classical and Jazz Sundays. The
repertoire ranges from Baroque to gospel and spirituals. If you enjoy
singing, please consider sharing your talent—new
members are always welcome. The choir sings at the 10:00 a.m.
service on Sundays and occasionally at both services for special
occasions.
Special
Music

Music for our Sunday 8:30
a.m. services is provided by a variety of fine singers and
instrumentalists. Contact Minister of Music, Steve Lowry, for more
information.
Children's
Choir
Our Children's Choir is open to youth through 4th
grade. Contact Julie Kleinberg (860-871-1299).
Joyful Voices
Choir
Come,
join the Joyful Voices. We rehearse in the Miller Room between
services. This worship and praise choir is open to all youth in
Grade 5 through high school.
We use our singing to spread the Good News.
We welcome all who love to sing and praise God. No auditions
are required. “All God’s
critters got a place in the choir.”
This is a wonderful way for the young people to become
involved in the life of the church and contribute their talents.
If you would like to help us make a joyful noise—together,
contact Kathy Nivison, (860-875-1583 or
newgram@aol.com).
Come, let us make a joyful noise—together!
Youth
Instrumental Ensemble News!
If you play an instrument and are in grades
5 through 12, consider yourself an honorary member of the Youth Instrumental
Ensemble! Rehearsal time is minimal and we have the opportunity to
play two or three times a year. We will provide the music for Church
School Sunday in
May at the 8:30 and 10:00 services. Please contact
Steve Lowry (860) 292-1568 or lowrysa@cox.net if you are interested so he can get the music to you. He looks forward to hearing from you AND hearing you play.
