Changing Lives: Our Church's Wider Mission
" . . . for I was
hungry and yoy gave me food, I was thirsty and
you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you
welcomed me, I was naked, and you gave me
clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I
was in prison and you visited me. Just as you
did it to one of the least of these, you did it
to me." Matthew 25:35
Forty percent of the
people on our planet—more
than 2.5 billion—now
live in poverty, struggling to survive on less
than $2.00 a day. In response to this, our
church commits 15% of our pledge-giving to
mission and outreach. As followers of Jesus, we
are called to be advocates and agents for change
in our world. How could we respond any other
way?
Here at UCCT, we take
these words seriously. Jesus calls us out into
the world to be his Love, Healing, and Hope. We
are a community of ordinary people with an
extraordinary vision. If you're ready to do
something, small or large, we invite you to join
us.
Follow our Missions
links listing many of the communities and
organizations that we generously contribute to
with our gifts and talents that will not only
transform our local and global communities, but
change you as a child of God. Take a step, one,
two, or many, toward being the change. Never
underestimate the power of ONE.
Stuffed
Animals for Haiti

The proceeds from a
Pancake Breakfast went to SAFE in Connecticut to help clean and send gently
used stuffed animals to Haiti after Max Boland asked for our help and
advice. Pictured above, are some of the recipients.
