Lenten and Holy Week Worship Services--Download Flier

Our Lenten Devotional is available online.  The Board of Deacons and pastors have prepared a new Daily Devotional Brochure.  Each daily reading includes a scripture verse, a brief reflection, and a prayer.  Read it online, or print on 8 1/2 x 14 legal size paper.

(Ed. note:  I created a Lenten Devotional e-version and emailed it to my Kindle.  Open this PDF version and send it to your e-reader. I also loaded the English Standard Version of the Bible.  Both work great.)

Liturgical Prayer Stations.  March 25-30, until 4:00 p.m.  Stations are available in the sanctuary to anyone at their convenience and pace.  (For those with working schedules, the stations will be available Tuesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 29 until 8:30 p.m.)  Rev. Medeiros

Palm and Passion Sunday.  April 1, 2012.  Palm Sunday begins the most sacred week in the Christian calendar.  Palm crosses will be distributed to everyone attending Palm Sunday services.  Enjoy the Senior Choir and Joyful Voices at both services.

Maundy Thursday.  April 5, 2012, Service of Tenebrae with Communion, at 7:30 p.m. This is a special and moving service visually recreating the Last Supper of our Lord and his disciples.  As each deacon reads  a portion of the account of Jesus' final hours, candles are snuffed out and the sanctuary grows darker.  Were You There? will be sung from the midst of the darkness, and the light of Christ is removed, until its return Easter Sunday.  See our Maundy Thursday Bulletin
