The Church on Tolland Green
1722-2007
Marshall Atwater, a member and
past deacon of our church, wrote a history of the United
Congregational Church of Tolland in 2007, which was
published by the church. The book, The Church on
Tolland Green: The United Congregational Church of
Tolland, United Church of Christ,
1722-2007, is available in the church office for
$15. Donna Ellis, when she was deacon historian, prepared a
condensed version published here on our website.
Fran Maynard, Barbara Palmer, and Rev. Robert Wright,
Jr.
collaborated on the effort.

In 2011 the position of
Historian was established. Marshall Atwater is the
current Historian.

1723-1923
Mary Daniels provided the church with a
booklet of our church history from 1723 to 1923. This booklet has
been re-keyed in
8½" x 11" format, but the text is unchanged.
