Family Camping

Here is a sample of our family camping event from last year:

We had our annual Family Church Camping event on the weekend of July 15-17, 2011 or just for the day at nearby Charlie Brown Campground in Eastford, CT.  Sue Duhamel (860-870-3984 or s.cuhamel@comcast.net was in charge of registration and information.

We do a pot luck dinner on Saturday night.  Each family provides their own main course and then is assigned a dessert or salad to bring to share.

Tent or camper required,  we can help out if someone wants to attend but does not have a tent.  A few of us have tents that can be used. Cost runs between $75 and $85 for the weekend.  This depends on the number attending. Web site http://charliebrowncampground.com/

Schedule of Events

Kids can do tubing or swim in the river (not very high), fish in children's pond and play on swing set.
