Walking in Their Shoes

Labyrinth Workshop of October 2, 2010

Using a labyrinth and "disabling props," we explored what life may be like for individuals whom we are caring for. We also addressed the challenges we face as caregivers. It proved to be a very moving experience for all!

Women's Tent Experience

The Women's Tent Experience, presented by Janet Bristow, co-founder of the prayer shawl ministry, was a wonderful afternoon of thoughtful reflection, meditation, journaling and sharing based on the book, The Red Tent.  The women in attendance also had the opportunity to do a couple of craft projects related to self reflection and shared a soup lunch together.  A relaxing, renewing experience was had by all.  (October 2009)
