Us
The United Congregational Church of Tolland is located
at
45 Tolland
Green in Tolland, Connecticut. We have had a
presence here since 1722 and our church holds a historic and
central place in the lives of the community. Likewise, the
congregation, through worship, education, varied activities, and
mission outreaches, occupies a central place in the hearts of all
our members.
We welcome your visit to our
church and hope you will find us to be a warm, friendly, and
vibrant congregation. We are committed to an ever faithful
response to this world's and this community's needs, and we invite
you to join with us in being the church we feel called to be.
We are a member of the United Church
of Christ and are a church of 1,200 active members.
Our Worship
Services
Sunday
services are held at 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
from the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday
before Father's Day.
Sunday services
Father's Day to the first Sunday in September at 9:00
a.m. only.
From Father's Day through the first
Sunday in September
we hold a single service at 9:00 a.m.
Special worship services
include
Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Youth Service,
Jazz Sunday, Graduation Sunday, and ecumenical services on Good
Friday and Thanksgiving.
The Lord's Supper is offered on
the first Sunday of each month at both services and is open to all
who wish to participate.
Our worship service is televised
Tuesdays on cable Channel 5 at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Check the

for the schedule listing or changes.
Our 8:30 service features special
music while the second service features our
Adult
Choir. We have an active Church
School for children during each service from September to May.
 We
have wheelchair accessible ramps, elevator, handicap parking,
personal listening devices and large print Bibles and bulletins.
In the event of severe
weather, there will be at least one worship service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday
